National Library displays the original Rizal manuscripts
In connection with the commemoration of Rizal’s 150th birth anniversary, the National Library is displaying the restored original copies of Rizal’s “Noli Me Tangere” and “El Filibusterismo” at the national archives in Ermita, Manila. The public will have a golden chance to see these priceless manuscripts authored by national hero Jose Rizal, which were restored with a grant from the German government according to a Palace press statement.
Some of the other exhibits on public display include “Rizal in Our Midst: An Homage to Greatness,” at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on A. Mabini in Manila; and the Rizaliana stamp exhibit at the Post Office Building at the Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.
